Fill Flash

Flash that is used to remove shadows from an image when there is already enough light for proper exposure.

example:

A portrait outside, the sun is shining, the fill flash would fire very briefing to just remove shadows under the nose and eyebrows. with out affecting the exposure of the entire image.
